Mystic Gemini's BigBrother POV
I'm thinking of adding a 5th category to my rating system: honesty. Sure, it's not a big part of the BB game, but it's a big part of how I view people. I think that's why, despite how rude, crude, and socially unacceptable he is, I will always like Dick...he's honest. He'll tell you you're an asshole, but only if you are an asshole.
Eric's game is based on a total lie. He can't tell anyone that he's America's Tool. So, he's lying everyday he's in the house. But it's more than that. He lies when he doesn't have to. I had a real moment of clarity in regards to how I feel about the BB8 players last night. Dick told a story about finding his best friend dead of a drug overdose, and trying to revive him. It was an honest, emotional moment. After he left the room the New Nerd Herd, completely mocked and laughed at him/the story. It was horrible. It was primarily Dusting and Eric, with a little contribution from Amber. A few comments from Jessica, and at the very least she stood by and let it happen.
And then today, Jessica really blew her honesty score when Dick asked everyone to admit if they had a deal/alliance with Eric. Jessica was the first to pipe up with "I don't!" BULLSHIT! And so stupid. No one would be shocked for her to say, well obviously we have an understanding (in fact, he told her he'd take her to F2, but even if she doesn't want to admit that, at least admit they have a deal).
Jameka, aka God's Tool, is pretty honest. But at the same time, she is "nice" to people's faces and then talks trash behind their backs. She's certainly not as bad as Amb/Dust, but she's still a little two-faced. And she's counting on the God-factor to allow ppl to overlook her lies.
Ditto for Kail. Kail's actually not terribly dishonest, but rather a little naieve. She did have the whole alliance thing, but that's really just part of the game. And now she's trusting the wrong person...and that might introduce her to the door.
I won't go into all of them in detail, but I'll just say that from where I sit, Dick and Jen rarely lie, Daniele has only lied as far as her nomination strategies to get Tool on the block, and Dustin and Amber are two of the least honest people ever. Dustin is definitely the worse of the two. He's playing both ends against the middle with gal-pal Amber and hand-putty Kail, and we can only hope that come back to bite him in his (potentially) gay ass (remember, he might have a g/f!...liar, liar...).
So to rank on honesty:
On a rather unrelated note, a lot of people went up in my rating based on the outcome of the POV. You've got to give entertainment points to anyone who agreed to wear a bunny suit. And major props to Zach for not only wearing the bunny suit, and doing the dunking, but for having a great attitude toward the dunking and trying to keep everyone's spirits up as the whole thing got freakin' old. He's a better guy than I've been giving him credit for. Or at least that's how he appears at the moment, as he tries to stay off the block. If he screws over D2, I'll revise my opinion.
